Ensuring we practice safe recruitment in checking the suitability of staff and volunteers to work with children.
Raising awareness of child protection issues and equipping children with the skills needed to keep them safe.
Developing and then implementing procedures for identifying and reporting cases, or suspected cases, of abuse.
Supporting pupils who have been abused in accordance with his/her agreed child protection plan.
Establishing a safe environment in which children can learn and develop.
Our policy is evaluated regularly and the findings reported to the Governing Body. Back to top
Hours of Attendance
The hours of attendance are as follows: -? Morning 08.50 - 12.00 Afternoon 13.00 - 15.05
We ask that children do not arrive before 08.35, at which time a member of staff will be on duty in the playground. Classroom doors are opened at 08.40 and children are welcome to come in and start their work. We expect children to have left the school by 15.15 unless they are taking part in after school clubs. Those children who go home for lunch should return between 12.50 and 13.00. If you need to collect your child during the school day, please let us know in advance and collect them from reception.
Please ensure that your child arrives on time as late arrival causes disruption to the education of your child as well as that of other children.
Any decision to close the school (e.g. bad weather, heating failures) will be announced on Wiltshire Sound and GWR. Back to top
